Dubai History and Culture

Dubai has a rich, Arabic cultural heritage. While it is now more known for its intriguing mix of deserts, beaches and luxurious manmade feats, the culture of the Emirati people still have a major role to play. Dubai is an absolute monarchy. The Al Maktoum family have reigned there since 1833—the current ruler being His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bi Rashid Al Maktoum. In addition to being the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan is also the Chairman of Dubai’s Executive Council and, like his predecessors, has wisely and progressively led Dubai into prosperity. Although tradition and culture underpin life in Dubai, the UAE state is a warmly hospitable destination. Emirati people tend to preserve Islamic heritage, with the majority being Muslim. Despite this, the people of Dubai are extremely tolerant of their multicultural citizens and guests—all religious beliefs are welcome. Over 200 nationalities call Dubai home, including Emiratis, Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Filipinos, Sri Lankans and Americans (just to name a few!). Each new group has brought with them their own style, strengths and flavours. There are currently over 6000 restaurants and cafés in the bustling city, offering every cuisine imaginable. Turkey topkapi attraction

Topkapı is the subject of more colourful stories than most of the world's museums put together. Libidinous sultans, ambitious courtiers, beautiful concubines and scheming eunuchs lived and worked here between the 15th and 19th centuries when it was the court of the Ottoman empire. A visit to the palace's opulent pavilions, jewel-filled Treasury and sprawling Harem gives a fascinating glimpse into their lives.
Mehmet the Conqueror built the first stage of the palace shortly after the Conquest in 1453, and lived here until his death in 1481. Subsequent sultans lived in this rarefied environment until the 19th century, when they moved to the ostentatious European-style palaces they built on the shores of the Bosphorus.
Before you enter the palace's Imperial Gate (Bab-ı Hümayun), take a look at the ornate structure in the cobbled square just outside. This is the rococo-style Fountain of Sultan Ahmet III, built in 1728 by the sultan who so favoured tulips.
The main ticket office is in the First Court, just before the gate to the Second Court. turkey tours

Southern comforts and Georgian charm go together like mashed potatoes and gravy. Things might move a little slower in Georgia, from the way people talk, walk, and cook; that doesn’t mean you’ll ever be bored, however. Georgia has lots of great things to do, outside of sampling the South’s best servings of soul food.
Visit Atlanta for some great city sights, as well as historic museums, zoos, and the world’s largest aquarium. If you’re looking to escape the urban setting for a while, go to the Cumberland Island reservation. They have wild horses that run free along the island’s coasts like a scene out of a romantic novel.
Georgia has an additional 47 state parks to explore, if you’re looking for more great places to view wildlife in its natural habitat. If you’re a history buff, you’ll find plenty of Civil War monuments, museums, and memorials. Here are the top 10 attractions in Georgia that you should include in your itinerary. georgia tours

Singapore attractions

The line between zoo and botanic oasis blurs at this pulse-slowing sweep of spacious, naturalistic enclosures and interactive attractions. Get up close to orangutans, dodge Malaysian flying foxes, even snoop around a replica African village. Then there's that setting: 26 soothing hectares on a lush peninsula jutting out into the waters of the Upper Seletar Reservoir. Taxi (S$30 from the CBD) is the easiest way to get here or alternatively catch bus 138 from the Ang Mo Kio MRT station. There are over 2400 residents here, and as far as zoos go, the enclosures are among the world's most comfortable. Among the highlights is the Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife, a morning buffet enjoyed in the company of orangutans. Close encounters with free-roaming ring-tailed lemurs, lories and tree-hugging sloths await at the giant Fragile Forest biodome, or spy on shameless, red-bummed baboons doing things that Singaporeans still get arrested for at the evocative Great Rift Valley exhibit. If you have kids in tow, let them go wild at Rainforest Kidzworld, a wonderland of slides, swings, pony rides and farmyard animals happy for a feed. There's even a dedicated wet area, with swimwear available for purchase if you didn't bring your own.
The zoo prides itself on fostering respect for nature, and works together with other like-minded institutions on conservation projects both locally and regionally. One stain on its otherwise admirable record is the animal shows it still puts on; although elephant performances ceased in 2018, there is still an educational elephant presentation which sees the mammals interacting with their surroundings, by way of enrichment toys and verbal requests from keepers.singapor tours
